Over the past few months I've had the pleasure of working with the amazing Broadway.com team on a new fashion photo series, Gotta Dance. The idea behind this bi-weekly photo editorial/video interview is that we take a Broadway dancer--regardless of whether it's there first show or their fifteenth--and tell their story through images and audio.
For my portion of the project I always use the performer's current show as a jumping off point for styling and visual inspiration, which allows me to work within certain parameters (as without parameters I often don't know where to begin). During each of these shoots I've worked alongside an amazing team that includes Ariel Vega (hair and makeup) and David Withrow (styling) who help bring my ideas to life and polish them into something shiny (for without these two I worry that each dancer would be forced to wear a white shirt I drew on with Crayola markers, which was my "costume shop" in my basement theater productions).
Today I wanted to share a shot from each of the shoots we've done so far, and encourage you to stop by Broadway.com to watch the amazing videos that Paul Wontorek, Beth Stevens, Nick Shakra and Tim Kepler have put together. And, of course, go check out the shows featuring these incredible performers!

Well, I've been scoffed at sehmwoat by some of the STB regulars, but this certainly addresses one of my main problems with the proposed route the north end.I've contended ever since ST first proposed the streetcar station replacement that running on Broadway just dropped transit into an already congested corridor. My other concern was that the remedy for that, transit-only or BAT lanes, was going to be an unfair burden on the businesses there. This option seems to alleviate much of that
