I have gained such tremendous insight since that momentous day and I'd like to share it with you here and now.

Alright, let's just get to it.
This weekend was a pretty big weekend for me.
No, I didn't finally get that bottom surgery.
No I didn't wake up in an ice-filled bathtub wtih one less kidney.
Stop interupting me and I'll tell you!
Sheesh.
This past weekend, Sunday to be exact, I turned the big 3-0!
Dirty. Thirty.
(BTW: If you're a casting director and you're reading this, I'm as old as you want me to be.)
Since I turned twenty-nine, people have been asking me:
How do you feel about the big one coming up?
Anything different?
Not to mention all this bullsh people keep telling me about Saturn returns, which as far as I'm concerned is the former name of some Adam Guettel song cycle I could never really get into.
So what's the answer?
What is the wisdom I've gained since entering the next third of my life?
What revelation have I had?
Where do I go? Follow the river? Where do I go? Follow the gulls?
(I just came up with that. You're welcome.)
And so today, Crazytowners, I'd like to share with you all of the knowledge I have gained from turning thirty. I would like to impart upon you an amount of wisdom that will probably spin your head around twice and then produce a sensation that will feel like kissing the sublime.

Turning thirty feels like...
Turning twenty-nine.
Deep breath. Take that in. Live with it for a second. You back?
Ya, it's true. You kind of go through the mill a bit in the lead up to turning thirty but then it hits and it just kind of feels like another day, which I suppose is a good thing, right?
I'll keep you updated if anything changes. Promise.
