One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is the variety of subjects and performances I have the chance to photograph. Recently I was taken by surprise at the spectacular opening performance of the Miller Theater's 2012 season, a performance titled Venezia brought to life by Le Poeme Harmonique.
Led by vocalists Claire Lefilliatre, Serge Goubioud, Jan Van Elsacker and Geoffroy Buffiere, the evening brought 17th Century Venice to Manhattan. You can read the always-superb Philip Gardner's write up on his blog and check out the pictures below!
