So here’s two amazing, nay, unbelievable political videos that hit the internets this past week.
First, the cast of The West Wing (sans Rob Lowe, I might add, but complete with Carol!) got together for the first time in 6 years to make a video in support of Bridget Mary McCormack, candidate for the Michigan supreme court and sister of Mary McCormack, who played Kate Harper on The West Wing in seasons 5-7. If you know me, you know I lost my freaking mind when I saw this for the first time, as The West Wing is my favorite show of all time.
Second: Samuel L. Jackson has made a pro-Obama ad. As a rhymed couplet bedtime story. It’s a wake-up call to everyone who has been complacent since the 2008 election and it’s brilliant. Though the most amazing part is the little girl yelling the f-bomb at the end. I’ve always contended that there is no such thing as bad language. I love it, but I still also contend that Samuel L. Jackson is the last person I want to read me a bedtime story.
