Two musical writers who are finding their audiences on the interwebs.

I first heard about musical writers Jeff Luppino-Esposito and Matt Savarese through their work on Musical: The Online Musical. Not your typical web series, Musical: The Online Musical used Youtube comments and suggestions to shape the outcome of its weekly installments. Taking on a meta angle with a protagonist who self-consciously realizes he is in a musical, there's a good amount of twists, turns, and large cast production numbers. Also, did I mention that Matt, Jeff, and their cast were all students at the University of Virginia when they were producing this series?
Since Musical, the team has also been coming up with the Mini Musicals, one-shot musicals that tackle suggested subjects from history, pop culture, and other iconic characters (one of my favorites is their take on Pokemon: The Musical):
