THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE TWEETS

These are all tweets you should check out. Because they're awesome.

In my travels across the world wide web, particularly Twitter, I've come across some things that just made my life that much better. This social network is mammoth in size, but sometimes, you just strike pure gold. Let's cut to the chase. Here are some of my favourite Twitter accounts.

#1: Ghetto Hikes

This is one of those tragically abandoned Twitter accounts that hasn't been used in almost a year. It's a darn shame, because I spent about half an hour going through every single tweet and laughing myself silly. Ghetto Hikes is an account by someone who claims each tweet is based on thing he or she hears urban kids say on hikes. Here are some examples:

#2: Julie Bowen Loses a Bet to Jimmy Kimmel

A few days ago, Julie Bowen, of Modern Family fame, lost a bet to Jimmy Kimmel. What was at stake? A day-long takeover of Julie's Twitter account. Hilarity ensued. A few of my favourites:

It's things like this that remind me of why I joined social networking.



#3: Megan Amram

I don't think any Twitter account has made me laugh as consistently as Megan Amram. Her comedy is disarming, offensive, absurd, and ridiculously clever. There's gold in dem tweets.





Spend some time going through Megan's tweets. I guarantee you that you won't regret it.

These are all just some of my personal favourites. There's plenty more out there, but that's for you to discover. Spend some time messing around on Twitter on a rainy day... You might just find some gems.
