The almighty Coachella has spoken, thus allowing every other music festival in the country to release their lineups.

New Yoooooooorrrrrrrk! How can you go to any show in this city and not hear the band yell that on stage? And then you scream in response because you feel extremely special at that exact moment, giving in to their cheap affection.
But seeing as how New York provides those breakthrough moments for so many artists, I'd like to think there are some genuine shouts of gratitude. And yesterday, New York shoutouts came in waves across Twitter as the Governors Ball lineup was announced. Taking place on Randall's Island on the East River June 6-8th, this fourth annual festival boasts a lineup that rivals Coachella. MAYBE. You be the judge.
The Lineup... where ISN'T Outkast playing this summer? Jack White, a solid favorite. Vampire Weekend, swoon. Phoenix, Foster the People, and Disclosure - yes, yes, YES. Fifth time seeing The 1975 in just 8 months? Necessary.
Stream some of my favorite acts on the bill below (you know I love the small print bands), and snap up your own tickets! Single day passes will be available at a later time, FYI
